Saw your post - As a NJ resident I was a bit surprised. I have not heard much of anything about this. I do not check Healingwell too often these days. I found the Fibro CFS forums to have the same problems you ascribe to the Lyme forum!

I am still apparently on the LDA's mailing list, and so I receive all of their "calls to action." Nothing surprises me anymore.
I post on Lymeblog once in a blue moon. Although it is upsetting to see many of the same people posting, still just as sick as ever despite their loyal adherence to every prescription, "protocol," and fad recommended and given to them by their trusted "Lyme-literates," I am glad to see that more people are beginning to question the bandwagons and the dogmas. There is still hope....
However, I don't even bother stopping by HealingWell anymore; it's just too frustrating to see the BS and have no means of throwing reason into the mix. I was banned years ago for my "reprehensible attitude" regarding the masses of blind followers and ridiculous dogmas, and as far as I'm concerned the regulars there deserve all of the misery they impose upon themselves. It's just too bad those people have access to so many naive and trusting newbies--they make great cases for themselves, very convincing, as flawed as their "science" and reasoning is.
Such is life. I've learned to move on.

Hey! *waving* I'm still alive and kicking. Well, not kicking as high but I'm still aiming for asses. Not in any treatment for "whatever-it-is" anymore. Got rid of most of my docs (except PCP) and just treating some of the symtoms at this point. Turned out the seizures I was getting were the result of being on the plaquenil. a few months after stopping the plaquenil (it has a long half-life), the seizures stopped. whoda thunk? certainly not the lyme doc. and not the epileptologist either. heh Anyhoo, just wanted to stop in and see who's around.

Nyxie - good to see you are making out OK!
I take the Naltrexone and sleep meds, (and my diabetic meds) and that's it...
