I finally made it in to see my GP, determined I was going to talk her into a prescription for Plaquenil. Instead, she talked me into trying Cymbalta for a few weeks (so the running dx is back to fibromyalgia, I'm guessing ... whatever). I hate the idea of going on an antidepressant, but I do agree that I need to explore all options. I have been very active these past few months, and as a result I have had my share of flares ... I do not believe more antibiotics is the answer, but I definitely need to do something.
This morning I woke feeling very nauseated and rigid. I doubt I could have side effects so early, but I am fearing that the norepinephrine reuptake inhibition may be affecting my already lazy vagus nerve....
More soon.

As part of the many things they hit me with during my big relapse last summer - was antidepressants...Tried Trazadone, Zoloft, and Cymbalta. I do not recall any good or bad coming from that one! Trazadone made my pain and fatigue much worse. Keep posting about it I am seeing the immunologist for a "summit meeting" in two weeks - where I will try to sell more treatment options. Including things like Plaquenil, and intramuscular injections of gamma globulin (I.V. is just toooo expensive to try)
