Hi All, Just wondering how many of you have experienced tingling in your extremities? Mine first started in 2000 with the fingertips of one hand, then my other hand and finally my feet. It got progressively worse over the years, marching up both arms and legs. Sometimes my shoulders and back of head or one side of my face up to my ear. Lymeaway

I had really bad tingling and numbness in my hands, back before treatment. There were times when I felt uncertain about just trying to hold up a coffee cup, because the numbness added a perceived weakness, as well. I have had nerve pains in my feet, but minimal numbness (usually limited to one toe).
Another problem was waking with my arms numb, when I did actually sleep (back then, my sleep was minimal). It seemed that the nerves were overly sensitive, and sleeping with my arms bent even slightly was enough to cut them off. I wake up with numbness very rarely, these days (I actually SLEEP!), and usually it is because I slept in a weird position.
I also used to get really bad numbness across my right cheek, which was followed by many months of excruciating trigeminal nerve pain, mostly along the jawline. Very rarely do those issues cause me any trouble, these days.
I treated for Lyme and babesiosis.
