What has your experience been using Dr. Zhang's protocol? Thanks, Lymeaway

Never been on Zhang.
Did Cowden for a couple of months when I was first diagnosed. The only thing I noticed was the marked decrease of inflammation in my wallet area.

Be careful with the numerous "protocols" out there ... many of them seem to be random sets of herbs, etc. that really have no scientific basis to back most of them. One such protocol (and I'm going to be nice, for once, and not name names) actually consists of a horse de-wormer and some other herb that is only known to induce nausea in humans. The only herb I have found any actual double-blind trials on is cat's claw.

Hi All, I have been on Dr. Zhang's for about 5 1/2 months, and have seen improvements in my symptoms. Including the tingling in all four extremeties which I didn't think would show any improvement. I thought it was permanant damage. I plan on having a CD57 to see if there is any improvement. Lymeaway

Good luck on your continued path. I have heard mixed information on the CD-57 test; my personal opinion is to allow your body to be its own gauge of good health. Blood tests, IMHO, have their place, but there is still so much we don't know about them, and I personally have no faith in the relevance of CD-57 levels and chronic Lyme status.
