I woke up feeling really crumby this morning. I got up at 9:00, feeling like I might throw up, sat in the shower for almost an hour, and then went back to bed.
I got up at 2:00, the nausea gone ... but replaced by a nasty headache. I think part of it might be my sinuses; the pain is bad, but it is not a migraine. It gets worse when I stand up; I'm finally at a point where I can sit without a similar onslaught of pain.
I have had an issue with my right eye for months, now. I have considered the possibility of ocular migraine, but I just don't think something like that could cause the daily waning and waxing of pain I have experienced so continuously. I have also been seeing a "strobe light" in my right eye; it only lasts for a few seconds, but it occurs several times a day, which is suggestive of occular migraine. So, it remains a possibility,
I have had problems with my trigeminal nerve for about a year and a half, give or take a few months. It has caused varying degrees of pain, ranging from quick stabbing sensations behind my jaw bone, to radiating, burning pain that makes me feel like the bottom row of my teeth are infected. Sometimes the pain goes up my cheek, instead. The above described pain has been minimal for a few months, or so, and I'm wondering if my eye pain may also just be a different, new manifestation of my trigeminal neuralgia.
No matter what the cause(s), I have been experiencing pain and visual disturbances in my right eye. Sometimes I think better when I'm writing ... so, here I am. I'm sure that there is really not much advice one can give on something like this, but I've been in bed all day, and I guess I just needed some kind of outlet.
Overall, I've been doing really well lately. Depression has returned, a bit, and the anxiety has been controlling my every day, but the arthritis (other than my right wrist) has been nearly non-existent. When one symptom goes away, a new one comes in its place, however.
I really hate puzzles I can't solve ... and I hate headaches. I'm sure I've rambled on long enough, now, so I'm just going to stop here.
