Ran across this a couple of days ago. Thought it was interesting. What piques my curiosity is the number of papers in the publications sections that reference IDSA studies. So are these studies unbiased or are they only trying to confirm those previous studies? If you didn't have to have a spinal tap I would sign up for one of them...the chronic lyme one.

I think these studies all look very promising. Yeah, besides the spinal tap that one study looks like it would be a great one to participate in. I also would love to get one of my "skin cooties" punched out for that STARI study, just given my location and my continuous skin involvement ... but they exclude patients who have been treated with any antibiotics. It is clear that our government understands the ambiguity of these diseases; if only the IDSA would get off its high horse and play some catch-up....
