It's nice to see people taking a more balanced view on the disease. Quote from the above link:
"Gleason was happy to hear Warner had begun receiving the right treatment — a three-week course of antibiotics.
“'It was very rewarding to hear,' said Gleason, who has 20 years of experience as a paramedic, and even worked as the paramedic director at Elliot Hospital. Gleason is Amherst’s emergency medical service director as well as its health officer.
"From his own research, Gleason said he has found that sometimes people who have advanced Lyme disease need to take antibiotics long-term.
"Whether she will need more treatment is just what Warner has been wondering, too.
"After completing her antibiotics last week, she feels much better, but still has some joint aches and shortness of breath.
"Whatever happens, she’s determined to take an active role in seeing her illness through to the end."
