I am Tim, 50 year old NYC "union guy" and part time musician...I handle and care for stray cats that pass by and hang around my house in a very woodsy area of NNJ - Yes we have deer, lots of them, they sleep in my yard - Know of two cases of Lyme in my neighborhood. Despite telling my GP I had had a rash with an itchy bump in the middle at my beltline (to be honest it was not a bullseye, kind of a pale streaky oval) that was gone before I came to him with "flu like symptoms" he said the test PROVES it could not be Lyme...
So here I am, 3 months into the Twilight Zone...

Welcome! The Twilight Zone is definitely not the funnest place to wind up, but we're all in the same boat ... hopefully we can figure out how where that "Exit" sign is if we all put our heads together long enough.

sometimes rashes reoccur. Take a picture if it does!
Unfortunately it may still be dismissed by GP as a multitude of non lyme rash- I've heard "contact dermititis" "prickly heat" etc.
I had multiple rashes. Some which came months into treatment. Does not have to be a bullseye.
GP is synonymous with ID which stands for Idiot Duck.
I swear my Neurologist is in denial about his own symptoms of Lyme Disease. His most pronounced symptoms-overwhelming fatigue, body aches, word retrieval issues, depression.
I asked him what his personal opinion of treatment for Lyme Disease was-he remained noncommittal and retreated behind party lines- treat it once, no such thing as Chronic Lyme.
But I don't go to him for Lyme, I go for seizures.
Twice I told him he needs to be tested for Lyme-he said he was just getting old-he's younger than I am.

How strange, enochroot. Try cutting and pasting the password and see if that works.

Hi!
****I handle and care for stray cats that pass by and hang around my house in a very woodsy area of NNJ ****
If you can, get tested for Bartonella henselae (cat scratch disease)also, by IGeneX labs.
Bart. is VERY common---- and rashes are associated with it also. Just not bulls-eye rashes, AFAIK

Enoch, I just thought of something ... are you checking your filtered mail/spam box? Your activation may simply not be getting past your e-mail filters.
