No , not yet. Been putting it off (afraid of adverse reactions that would put me calling in sick) so, waiting for my vacation which is Aug 8th. Got all the supplies ready graduated cylinder, the LDN, medicine dropper bottle... All set to "home compound" I will surely keep you posted. Been working a ton of hours getting "Who Wants to be a Millionaire" ready to go back on air. You would not believe how many people it takes to get that thing up and running. What happened to all the regulars here? did they all get better? ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Good luck with that. I'm not sure where the big hangout is these days, but it is definitely not here. I hope some of them have gotten better, but the last I heard everyone I knew was still trying the same old madness, while expecting new results. I'm in another flare, after a couple of weeks of feeling pretty decent. I've been keeping busy. I go back to school in a few weeks, so that should be interesting.

Finishing the second week of low dose naltrexone...so far so good ;D The research says it takes a month to see much benefit but so far the only negative side effect is a metallic taste in my mouth. I cannot find much info on that being a known or significant thing! I have a script for blood work from my GP to get things checked at one month in...Be sure i am not blowing out my liver or something! At just 1mg a night i suppose i cannot get too far wrong seeing as how they gave heroin addicts this stuff 50mg up to 3 times - a day... Hope you are well LE, and that all the gang who hang or did hang here are doing well

Glad to hear that you're doing okay.
I've returned to college full time, and doing well so far. My hair has been thinning in spurts and my GI tract and skin are both still giving me problems, but I'm hanging in there. Joint pain/swelling is intermittent, nothing I can't handle. I really would like to get back on plaquenil, but I'm hesitant....
I have another novel coming out in September. ;-)

So did you put out your novel? I am doing pretty well on the Low Dose Naltrexone. My pain and fatigue levels are the lowest they have been in two years, and i have again been doing stuuupid amounts overtime at work I have seens posts about this treatment being of benefit for chronic Lyme, some of you guys should check it out! But then your mileage may vary, some Healingwell folks say it exacerbates Lyme

I personally don't trust anything posted on HealingWell's Lyme forum. It is, in my humble opinion, peopled by whackados--the same people who have been gravely ill for years upon years, muttering the same mantras for years upon years, and still just as sick as ever.... You can check out my latest book at, of all places, the Home Shopping Network: electronics.hsn.com/escape-with-romance-exclusive-6-book-collection_p-5700283_xp.aspx?webm_id=0&web_id=5700283&sf=ec&attr=1845&ocm=EC|1845&prev=hp!1845&ccm=EC|1845 My book is in the Paranormal collection. I'm currently being treated for lupus--which I have no doubt is related to the Lyme. Blood tests were finally conclusive, though, and so I'm going along with the Plaquenil treatment, to see what happens. I'll keep you updated.

Thanks for the link. It will be interesting to see what larger clinical trials show on this.
