I'm glad the fatigue is doing better!
I get waves of fatigue that slam into me....MUST....SLEEP.....2 HOURS......snore
My husband compares me to my laptop, whose battery often dies without warning.

I worked out for an hour on Wednesday, doing bo kata, which I haven't done in about a year. I want to start working on my upper body strength again, despite the fatigue, because I know that if I give in to the fatigue, there is the potential that I will become completely inactive again. I don't ever want to go back to that again ... because that takes you to the "place" where you can't stay awake for the life of you, yet you can't sleep worth a damn and you're in bed half the time, and I don't want to go there ever again. It's bad enough that I'm taking naps again every once in a while ... and every once in a while falling into that can't-get-up, can't sleep, miserable-yet-cozy daze I remember all too well....
Anyway, I think I have figured out just how much exercise my body can take without putting me in bed for a few days. I noticed that the muscle pain from Wednesday's workout is finally gone today ... so today it is back to the bo. Wish me luck.
My head has been a little spacy as of late ... and the swollen lymph node is officially back, but only half the size it was before. I'm still holding off on the cat's claw, as clear of a benefit as it gave me, just to see if I can snap back without it. I don't want to have to take anything for the rest of my life, even if it is an herb. We'll see, though....

LOL, Jarla! That sounds like me. I get dizzy-tired in the middle of the day and have to nap for a few hours. I don't really begrudge myself the nap because it's one of my few self-indulgences. ((((((( naps ))))))))
LE, How great you're working out again! Or at least trying. Good luck! Do you do any stretching on the days you're not working out? I've found that sometimes helps to make post-exercise pain go away a little faster. Doesn't do diddly for the fatigue tho.
Are you keeping track of your sans cat's claw symptoms in relation to your menstrual cycle? Could be why your weeks seem to vary.
Been making more of an effort to do things around here too. Spent a few hours the last two days doing some light yard work. Yes - have DEET, will travel. When my picc arm starts getting sore, it's time to stop. I've found I have a little more energy these days and want to use it.
It really feels good to do something productive and see immediate results. For some reason, I don't get the same feeling with housework. Maybe it's because housework doesn't last around here.

Jarla, that is such a great analogy!
Nyxie, I have been trying to log my daily symptoms ... but ever since I stopped the cat's claw, I seem to keep forgetting about it regularly. Thank you for the reminder!!! Are you snapping back from the yard work okay? BTW, doesn't it feel great to be somewhat productive again?!
I ended up not doing the bo yesterday, after I realized that moving certain ways still caused my rotator cuff to seize and weaken on me. I did do open-hand kata for about a half an hour, though. I do try to stretch every day, whether or not I work out, and I really think it makes a difference in the overall stiffness and achiness.
